Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy (Important)

Selzo operates on a subscription-based SaaS model.

Digital services, once accessed or activated, are generally not eligible for refunds under consumer protection laws.

Once a subscription is activated, no refunds will be issued for:

• Partial usage
• Unused time
• Downgrades
• Account inactivity
• Early cancellation
• Upgrading or downgrading plans (this does not reset the billing cycle or create refund eligibility)

2. Subscription Cancellation

2.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

• Through your Selzo account dashboard, or
• By contacting Selzo support

📌 Cancellation stops future billing only.

2.2 Effect of Cancellation

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle
• You will continue to have access to paid features until expiry
• No prorated refunds are provided for unused time

3. No Refund Scenarios (Explicit)

Refunds will NOT be issued for the following:

• Change of mind after purchase
• Lack of usage or failure to use the Service
• Business loss, lack of sales, or poor performance
• Feature expectations not met
• User error or misconfiguration
• Account suspension or termination due to policy violations
• Third-party service issues (payment gateways, hosting, APIs)
• Failure to cancel before renewal
• Promotional or discounted plans (unless stated otherwise)

Selzo reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse, repeated requests, or suspicious activity.

4. Free Trials (If Applicable)

If Selzo offers a free trial:

• No charges are applied during the trial period
• You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges
• Once the trial converts into a paid subscription, refunds are not available

Selzo reserves the right to modify or withdraw free trials at any time.

5. Refund Exceptions (Very Limited)

Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:

5.1 Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

If you are charged:

• Twice for the same subscription, or
• An incorrect amount due to a system error

👉 You must report this within 7 days of the charge.

5.2 Service Unavailability (Rare)

If Selzo is completely unavailable for an extended period due to an internal fault, Selzo may, at its sole discretion, offer:

• A service credit, or
• A partial refund

Note: This does not apply to scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or internet/device issues.

Service credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.

6. Payment Gateways & Chargebacks

All payments are processed via third-party payment providers.

• Selzo does not control payment processing timelines
• Refund processing time depends on the payment provider
• Chargebacks or disputes raised with banks or gateways may result in account suspension

You are responsible for resolving chargebacks initiated from your end.

Any disputes related to refunds or cancellations will be handled as per Selzo’s Terms of Service.

7. Refund Processing Timeline

If a refund is approved (exceptional cases only):

• Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days
• Amount is credited back to the original payment method
• Selzo is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers

8. Account Termination & Refunds

If Selzo terminates your account due to:

• Policy violations
• Fraud
• Illegal activities
• Abuse of Services

👉 No refund will be issued, regardless of remaining subscription time.

9. Taxes & Fees

All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Taxes, gateway fees, or currency conversion charges are non-refundable.

10. Changes to This Policy

Selzo reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email, or
• Account dashboard notice

Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
